You guys we literally ate our way through the Iowa State Fair…..it was awesome and awful all at the same time. The bucket of cookies really did me in. I never have been a fair person we always go 1 of the days sometimes we will go again if we are kid free because let’s be honest you about need to take out a small loan to take a family there for a day.
I’ll be honest we probably miss out on so much the fair has to offer. We go for the food, the people, animals, and the rides (for the kids). We stepped foot in the Varied Industries Building to get an Iowa Hawkeyes football poster and went right back out. We hit up the Walnut Center to look at some things this year too. Other than the animal barns that is all we accomplished this year in the 5 to 6 hours we were there. AND I WAS EXHAUSTED!
We made some great memories which included a newly potty trained toddler scared to death to use the restrooms……I won’t go into the details. Here are some of the memories I was able to capture….someone is very into horses right now….
