The ultimate turning point of the project….DRYWALL. What a pivotal step as we feel like we have something that will be a home someday. It is amazing what a difference it makes covering up studded walls.
There really isn’t a lot of context or explanation to go along with drywall other than to make sure you notate where your light holes, switches, and outlets are so they don’t get buried. Other than that this is just a big ole picture dump of the process. We chose popcorn ceilings because they are making a come back and we wanted to be “on trend”. I am totally kidding. Knock down ceilings and a light orange peel texture on the walls. We considered doing a smooth finish on the walls but decided we would rather have a little texture to hide some things (read also as kids nasty fingers will show up everywhere).
