The Slim Flat Lay Koozie is here to join the family for those of you White Claw, Truly drinkers. Using the same construction as my previous pattern only taller and skinner. Now I would typically go into the design process and talk all about the yarn but it is all the same as her sister so you can read about that here. Instead I am just going to jump into the details so you can soak up the last days of summer with a cold beverage and not a cold hand.

Materials
- Bernat Maker Home Dec or try one of these subs.
- 36yds/1oz
- L/8mm hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Gauge/Dimensions
4” x 4” = 11 sts x 12 rows
Notes
This koozie is made for tall slim cans (Truly, White Claw, etc). Chain 1 does not count as a stitch.
Leaving a long tail for seaming, ch. 14.
Row 1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook sc across, ch1, turn – 13sts.
Row 2: Sc across all sts, ch1, turn – 13sts.
Row 3-20: Repeat row 2. (Tip: place stitch marker at the end of row 4 to help locate stitches for the bottom.)
Row 21: Sc across all sts, ch1, rotate work 90° clockwise – 13sts.
Sc in each row across, ch1, rotate work 90° clockwise – 21sts.
Sl st along beginning ch, ch1 rotate work 90° clockwise – 13sts
Then, Sl st 4 times until you reach stitch marker.
You will start your sc where you placed your stitch marker at row 4.
Row 1: Sc across three rows, sl st in same stitch as last sc, ch1, turn – 3sts. (Note: do not start your next row in your sl st, start in your last sc.
Row 2: Inc, sc, inc, ch1, turn – 5sts.
Row 3: Inc, sc 3, inc, ch1, turn – 7sts.
Row 4: Inc, sc 5, inc, ch1, turn – 9sts.
Row 5: Inc, sc 7, inc, ch1, turn – 11sts.
Row 6: Dec, sc 7, dec, ch1, turn – 9sts.
Row 7: Dec, sc 5, dec, ch1, turn – 7sts.
Row 8: Dec, sc 3, dec, ch1, turn – 5sts.
Row 9: Dec, sc, dec – 3sts.
Tie off and leave long end for seaming.
Using the yarn tail you left at the beginning, seam down the side of koozie using whipstitch.
Seam the bottom of koozie aligning with opposite side.
Weave in all ends.
