Toddler Hat

Well my son is now 2 years old and in preparation for his sister’s arrival I was doing some cleaning and found that he had only 1 hat that is going to fit him this winter.

Putting my knitting skills to work I decided to make him a new hat out of some yarn that I have on hand. I came across a very simple pattern and was able to complete this in an afternoon.

I must say using those large knitting needles can prove to be a hassle as they feel so awkward to work with. The link to the pattern I used can be found here. It is a simple K2, P2 stitch for the beginning rows and then stockinette through the rest. photo
